Usage Guide

	Preparation Remove all grease. Remove rust with a wire brush or coarse sandpaper. Remove dirt and salt with dilute detergent, then rinse with clean water. Allow time to dry. For painted surfaces remove all loose paint. For best results on bare galvanized metal or aluminium surfaces, apply 1 coat of Hammerite Special Metals Primer and on rusted metal surfaces apply 2 coats of Hammerite No.1 Rust Beater.
	Application Ideal application temperature is 8 to 25ºC. Stir thoroughly before use. By brush: for best results apply 2 coats. Apply second coat after 16 hours. By roller: for best results use a short pile mohair roller and apply 2 coats. Apply second coat after 16 hours. No thinning is required.
	Cleaning & Storage Remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning, and clean with Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners. Hammerite garage Door Enamel should be stored in a dry well ventilated area. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. DO NOT EMPTY PAINT INTO DRAINS OR WATERCOURSES.
	Tools Required Coarse sandpaper, Hammerite Brush Cleaner & Thinners, paint brush or roller, rags, goggles, protective gloves and a blunt screwdriver or old knife.
